REGISTRATION

Registration for Youth Day Camps may be done in person at our office, or online using the link on this page.  

Participants must register one week in advance for all day camp sessions, including one days. If registering after midnight on the Monday prior to the session of camp, a $20 late fee will be charged per camp participant. If registering on the Friday before camp starts, a $40 late fee will be charged.  No registration is allowed over the weekend before camp.

IMPORTANT: Attend "Meet the Counselors" on June 5th at 5:15PM at Palmer Park West Pavilion. Don't miss this presentation where you will learn camp procedures, rules and general information on all our camps. You will receive parent handbooks and session calendars while meeting your child's summer camp counselors.

SCHOLARSHIPS

A limited amount of scholarships are available for income eligible families. A child may receive one scholarship for one session of the Camp of their choice (Kids Count Camp, Extreme Sports Camp or two sessions of Kids Count Camp Half Day). Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis until spots are filled. Applications are available at the Recreation Office or online here.

KIDS COUNT CAMP

KCC is the place to be!  All sessions take place Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm at the Palmer Park West Pavilion except session 1 is shortened and prorated due to Janesville schools still being in session. Any child ages 5-12 may attend. KCC is the hottest all-inclusive Camp in town.  Camp includes:

  •  2 week session for $185 (session 1 prorated to $148)
  •  1 week only fee for $105 (session 1, week 1 prorated to $63)
  •  $25/day w/o field trip (max 10/day)
  •  $35/day with field trip (max 10/day)
  •  Daily before care from 7-9AM
  •  Daily after care from 4-5:30PM
  •  Multiple child discount
  •  Arts, crafts, games and activities
  •  Weekly swimming at Rockport Pool
  •  Ice skating each session (if available)
  •  Field trip each session
  •  Family cookout each session
  •  Weekly science and water fun days
  •  Weekly camper choice days (fish, bike, craft, sport)
  •  Healthy snacks from Basics Cooperative
  •  T-shirt
  •  Fun themed sessions
  •  Special session surprises

PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING A LUNCH EACH DAY.  PLEASE REGISTER ONE WEEK BEFORE CAMP BEGINS TO AVOID THE LATE FEE (includes one week or one day registrations).

KIDS COUNT EXTRA OPTION WITH CSA KIDS SPORTS & ARTS CAMPUS

This Camp is co-sponsored by CSA Kids Sports & Arts Campus (4113 Whitney Street). Camp takes place at CSA Kids Campus Monday-Thursday and at Palmer Park West Pavilion on Friday's. CSA activities include: 

  • 2 week session fee for $204 (session 1 prorated to $164)
  • 1 week session fee for $135 (session 1, week 1 prorated to $81)
  • Daily before care and after care
  • Arts, crafts, outside sports and games
  • Pom/cheer dance
  • Gymnastics & fitnastics
  • Swimming
  • Tumbling and trampoline
  • Fridays at Palmer Park with KCC

Friday's at Palmer Park include: 1st Friday will be regular KCC and the 2nd Friday will be the scheduled field trip. Camp includes before care and/or after care, t-shirt, supplies and field trip.

Camp session dates, times, themes and field trips correspond with Kids Count Camp (listed above). Participants must bring a lunch and snack each day.  Please register one week before camp begins online at www.ci.janesville.wi.us/register or at the Janesville Recreation Division office!   REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED AT 4:30PM ON WEDNESDAY BEFORE EACH CAMP SESSION BEGINS.  NO CAMP WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH. Maximum: 15 per session.

KIDS COUNT CAMP 1/2 DAY

All sessions take place Monday-Friday from 11:30AM - 5:30PM at Palmer Park Hilltop Pavilion. Any child ages 5-12 may attend. This Camp is great for those in summer school or for those wanting the "camp experience" without the full day.  Camp has:

  • One week fee of $90 includes t-shirt, supplies and field trip
  • Arts, crafts, games and science/water activities
  • City bus transportation from Kennedy, Adams or Monroe ES*
  • Weekly trips to the library
  • Weekly swimming at Rockport Pool 

*There must be a minimum of 3 children per bus stop enrolled one week prior to the camp session or the bus stop will be cancelled.

Participants must bring a lunch each day. Please register one week before camp begins to avoid the late fee!

CAMP TOT LOT

All sessions are one week sessions which will take place Monday through Friday from 8:45-11:AM in Adams Elementary School Room 105 (1138 E. Memorial Drive).   Camp has:

  • 1 week session for $35
  • Story time and silly songs
  • Art, crafts, sports and group games
  • Playground play
  • Silly songs
  • Snack
  •    

Child must be potty trained.  Please register one week before camp begins to avoid the late fee! Register online at www.ci.janesville.wi.us/register or at the Janesville Recreation Division office!  Maximum: 20
