Clerk-Treasurer’s Office Sends Absentee Ballots for August Election
The City of Janesville Clerk-Treasurer’s Office has mailed absentee ballots to all individuals with a valid absentee ballot request on file for the August election. All mail labels for absentee ballots have Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMBs). These barcodes allow you to track the status of your absentee ballot from the www.myvote.wi.gov website. Simply click on the Vote Absentee tile, enter your name and birthdate, click search and then click “View My Absentee Request”. The IMB, once scanned by the United States Postal Service (USPS) will provide an anticipated date of delivery.
Completed absentee ballots must be received in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Please use the self-addressed stamped envelope to return your ballot. Please allow 7 days for your ballot to travel through the mail.
If you have questions please contact the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at (608) 755-3070.
