Summary of Services
Janesville, Wisconsin's Park Place offers diverse opportunities with its 2,590 acre system which includes 64 improved parks. Janesville's parks are divided into categories that include regional parks, community parks, neighborhood parks, greenbelts and open spaces. The various parks provide an arboretum, Lion's Beach, outdoor swimming at Rockport Pool and the Palmer & Riverside wading pools; tennis courts, six lighted softball fields, sledding hills, ten miles of cross-country ski trails, 25+ miles of paved bike trails and picnic pavilions.
