Summary of Services
The Department of Public Works, headed by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, is comprised of the following: Engineering, Operations, Technical Services, Water Utility and Wastewater Utility.
Comprised of approximately 110 employees, the Department of Public Works is primarily responsible for administration of activities related to street rehabilitation, new and replacement sidewalk, transportation, street lights, traffic signals, construction, new development, storm water, water system, sewer system, sanitation, landfill operations, and environmental assessments.
