Check out these fun fitness classes for individuals of all fitness levels. You don't need a membership to attend these classes! The Senior Activity Center is located at 69 S. Water Street. AMPD Power Flow
RIPPED classes are a total body workout, utilizing resistance and cardio training combining Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet components to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. Kettlebell AMPD takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 60 minutes of calorie-torching fun! This whole-body workout emphasizes group fitness and focuses on specific areas such as arms, legs, core, and cardio. Each song concentrates on a main area, while still maintaining a whole-body routine.
Real people for real results — Kettlebell is for anyone and anybody who is looking to have fun. Weights vary anywhere from 5-15lbs, so the workout can be adjusted and moves modified to suit your individual needs. Anyone can take this class! The music is diverse, and our moves are simple and easy to learn. Get lost in the music and push yourself with the most effective, fulfilling, and lively workout available!

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. If you enjoy Zumba, then you are more likely to do it regularly and experience its benefits as an aerobic exercise.
Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30PM. Cost is $3 per class on a drop in basis, paid to the instructor.
COUCH TO 5K IN 9 WEEKS (AGES 18+)
GO GO...Get up and get moving. Enjoy the fact that you live in the city known as Wisconsin's Park Place. Whether you're just getting started or are an experienced runner who needs a push off the couch, this Couch to 5K Challenge makes working out simple, social and fun. This program aims to prepare you slowly by starting off alternating between walking and running small distances in a variety of our parks, and slowly building up to run a 5K race. We will meet once a week as a group with the instructor, while the second and third training days you will need to complete on your own or meet up with friends in the group. Program will include nutritional, strength training and stretching information. At the end of the program we will run a 5K race on June 2 (second fee for 5K is required if interested). Please pre-register online at www.ci.janesville.wi.us/register or at the Janesville Recreation Division office by March 29. Minimum: 8/Maximum: 18
