Pavilion Reservations

Our pavilion reservation service allows groups to reserve picnic pavilion or picnic groves for family reunions, picnics, wedding receptions, etc. Picnic groves are a reserved area of the park provided with four picnic tables, a park grill, and trash receptacle (no shelter, drinking water, rest rooms or electricity). Six such groves exist in Palmer Park. The fee for pavilion reservations varies with size, residency, and location. Please note, reservations are not available from October 15 to April 15 of each year. Reservations are made in person on a first-come basis beginning February 1, 2010 for Janesville residents, and February 8, 2010 for non-residents (anyone living outside the city limits of Janesville). To reserve a pavilion, stop by the Leisure Services office (18 North Jackson Street - lower level, Wall Street entrance). Visit the document library to download a Facility Reservation Form. Please call the Leisure Services Department at 755-3025 for more information, cost, and availability.

* These pavilions require a key.  A key deposit of $25 (check or cash only) must be paid before rental.  Keys must be picked up at the Leisure Services Office before 4:30 p.m. on Friday for a weekend reservation and returned on Monday.
