According to the National Weather Service, the Rock River elevation on March 26 is 11.07 feet and peaked at 11.14 feet the evening of March 25.
While flooding similiar to what was experienced in June 2008 is not expected, the City of Janesville is monitoring the river elevation and taking a proactive approach in informing residents of flooding concerns.
