Assistant to the City Manager
The goal of MIG-I is to design and implement a comprehensive approach to effective communication between the City and its stakeholders with particular emphasis on relations between the City Manager’s Office and the public, media, external elected and appointed officials, business leaders and community groups. MIG-I intends to enhance stakeholder satisfaction by keeping them informed and engaging them in City activities and decision-making processes. Additionally, MIG-I works to improve internal communication processes.
MIG-I informs and engages the public through print advertising, social media, weekly press releases and oversight of the City website. Departments are assisted with internal and external communications through a variety of activities including preparation of project briefs, development of project webpages and advertisement of activities and events.
