Susan began her tenure with the City in 1988 as Human Resources Director (formerly Personnel Director). Prior to coming to Janesville, she had seven years of professional municipal human resources management experience in northern Illinois. Susan oversees the functions of the Human Resources Division and has served as the City’s chief negotiator for Labor negotiations, or participates in these negotiations. She has a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Psychology with an emphasis on Business and Organizational Psychology from Illinois State University. Susan is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager, and completed the LEAD program at the University of Virginia.
