General Election Information for Tuesday, April 2, 2019
Janesville residents are encouraged to exercise their right to vote in the April 2, 2019 election.
In person absentee voting can be done at the City of Janesville Clerk-Treasurer’s Office Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 29, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. On March 29, 2019 only, the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office will conduct in person absentee voting until 5 p.m.
On April 2, polls will be open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. for in person voting. Voters will be required to show a photo ID in order to cast an absentee ballot in person or to vote on Election Day. To learn more about acceptable forms of ID, please visit bringitwisconsin.com
